Sad news

[torgosPizza]

It's with a heavy heart that I must let everyone know our dear friend and moderator, Nigel McNaughton, aka Bathtub, passed away suddenly at the hospital he was staying in last night.

He was a nice guy, helpful when it came to troubleshooting tech issues in the site, and he even helped us with PAL titles back in the day. He was forum user number 279, and one of the earliest customers to buy a riff when RiffTrax first launched. I learned today that he was also a magician, and a member of the magic community in New Zealand.

More info from his family on Nigel's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/1228567733/posts/10221389578948784/

Wow this sux! He was a really cool guy.
I remember I sold him an extra copy of 'Star Wait' DVD back in April, 2008 (almost 14 years ago now) that he was looking for to add to his collection of MST3K commentaries.
I shipped it to his sister's address in Missouri so she could take it to him.

Oh no - used to help me with syncing Rifftrax back in the beginning. Very sad to hear.

He was always very cool, and I was happy to see him still posting here from time to time. He'll be missed for sure.

Very sad news indeed. Much appreciation for his efforts here and in the world.

Dang. That does suck.

I always looked forward to his posts and comments when I first joined the forum (back in 2007!), because he was always so down to earth, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Sad knowing I won't be seeing his name show up here again. RIP BathTub.
