By now, you'd think we'd have seen every sci-fi premise for a B movie imaginable. Robots, aliens, robot aliens, robot aliens that are actually zombies, talking cats, and so on. But then something like Savage comes along, something different, something new, something... well, it's something, anyway.

Here's the basic premise for Savage: a totally jacked rural farmer opens the door one night to some evil tech-lords who murder his family because they want his land. Like old-timey cattle barons with a Silicon Valley twist. The farmer finds himself in the desert with no memories, also now he's a caveman, and so naturally he wanders into a cave where some "ancient Cro-Magnon technology" converts him into... well, something. From there, he and policewoman Jennifer Grant (daughter of Cary Grant, no joke!) are in a fight against a villainous tech corporation and the doofus in charge of that corporation, a man who tries to be scary but comes off like Pee-Wee Herman doing a Dr. Evil impression.

Who will win, the mystic caveman powers of the desert, or rich dweebs in suits? And why does ancient alien technology appear to run on Windows 95? Only one way to find out, join Mike, Kevin and Bill for Savage!

This is a weirdly watchable movable movie. Mostly because your brain just wants to fill in the plot holes that are missing. Like any time there are two pieces to the plot and one is missing. Well you just put a point there and make a nice triangle because they are so nice.
There was a surprising lack of Cary Grant jokes in here. Considering that Charade is part of the Rifftrax canon there was a reason to go there but it didn't fit anywhere either. I mean it's not like anyone dressed nicely here.
