George 2.0 didn't resubmit BBC shows? That would have been my vote. My film noir list would consist of Chinatown and that's it.

Both options are the same ???

They won't let you post one option in the poll.

There are a lot of films that fall under the Film Noir banner that we have all seen. Such as Bladerunner, the Batman films without nipples,  and ( surprisingly ) Who Framed Roger Rabbit. But it would be up to the host to determine the definition of Film Noir as it doesn't really have a set definition.  And if he doesn't set some sort of limits on the definition,  then I can see The Great Muppet Caper coming in at #1.

Oh :o
Guess I'll be sitting this one out then.

I would like to someday see a break down of Top 50
Star Trek OS
TNG
DS9
Voyager
but I can't host them :-[

I was also hoping for BBC shows to come up again.

Sweet Jesus, we are not doing Muppet Caper for noir! Let's just nip that in the bud right now.   >:( HaHa

I didn't know there wouldn't be anything else to vote on. I'm hot for noir right now and had my heart set on that (if it won)

So I really didn't have BBC on my mind for this round... and after doing some study I'd like to expand that to Best British TV, to make sure it's all being considered.

post revised since I'm getting lists

And yeah I would include neo-noir... Chinatown, the Coen brothers did a few, Brick would count, Roger Rabbit I'd allow (it's got a femme fatale and a few other noir touches). And it's not all about detectives and such, Sweet Smell of Success, and Sunset Blvd were centered on writers and promoters or aging stars. (But, you haven't seen the Maltese Falcon, or Double Indemnity? Those are worth watching, even if you don't wanna vote for noir)

OK, sent my list in. I'm only upset that I couldn't include 50.

George-2.0

^Great list, fits all the criteria

So, um, with no other challengers and 4 votes, I guess I'll get to work on that list submission post, with rules and such.

I reckon you have enough lists to just go to the countdown at this point.

I will totally make a list. Might take a day or so.
You know, if the space man puma thing turns out to be the correct religion, I for one will be very surprised.
