For the first time ever, we're premiering a new RiffTrax VOD in a theater near you. Just in time for Halloween, it's RiffTrax: Jack-O! The heartwarming tale of Mr. Jack the Pumpkin Man and his fun-filled night of campy vengeance, Jack-O is fantastic riffing fodder, and we've dialed the gruesomeness down to a PG-13 version - so you can bring the whole socially-distanced family. You'll be able to see this first-ever RiffTrax experience in theaters on Wednesday, October 21st at 7:00PM local time.  If attending a show in theaters right now is not in your comfort zone, don't worry! We'll have RiffTrax: Jack-O available on RiffTrax.com at some point in the future.

Posting this question in hopes that someone official will notice and reply.

Will Wednesday's Jack-O screening have the pre-show cards that Rifftrax Live! usually does?  I want to know whether I need to be in my seat at 7 o'clock or at 6:30 for the full experience.

Thanks.

Okay, never mind,

For the record:  it did have the pre-show cards (and music), but my theater, as it too often does, truncated the show at both ends out of sheer indolence.  Then it started fast-forwarding and rewinding, so we got the beginning of the show twice. (Nothing like that to take you out of any semblance of the "live" experience.)

This marked the 4th theater in my city that I've seen RiffTrax Live (I've gone to all of them). I've had to notify someone of the pre-show slides. Every. Single. Time. Every. Single. Place.

Well, actually, I think it was the 2nd or 3rd year where they started slipping. Now I just get there early and set an alarm for when it's time to go tell someone.

Well, we don't have theaters back yet in my neck of the woods, but for everyone who got to go, I've added this discussion board:

After waffling a bit, I decided to put it in the live section, and will add another board to the usual place when the release is available to the rest of us in a few months.
