What have we learned from Bilocating to this movie?

I learned that I knew the lead actress and that I was right! SLEDGEHAMMER! I really miss that show. Oh and that she really didn't do that much after Sledgehammer.
I learned that the later Star Trek Online models look suspiciously like this one from the movie.
I learned Sparks could have been a Dalek, onboard with G-Force or even with the Power Rangers. He was pretty generic. DANGER WILL ROBINSON!
I learned Jack Palance would do any movie for a check. Who am I kidding. I already knew that.
I learned that the kids playing the son looked a lot like Jan-Michael Vincent but younger.
I learned you can save money on the budget by filming on the war torn earth by not making it war torn
I learned this was a pretty good riff and a pretty watchable movie.

Fodder's just this guy, you know.

I learned that Jack Palance was the Nicolas Cage of the 70s and 80s. He'll literally take any acting job offered to him.

John Carradine: Am I a joke to you?

I learned this was a thirty minute plot in an hour seventeen minute movie. Seriously, cut out the entire space trip and nothing would be lost. Nothing happens during it that affects anything in the end.
I learned this was the most ineffective group of 'heroes' ever. Not a single of them accomplishes anything. The robot has to save the day.
I learned when a building is dropping on your head, stuff will bounce of your head with no visible damage. Watch before Jack dies. He's sitting there and what's supposed to be a sizeable chunk of ceiling bounces off his head and to the ground. Even the guys chuckled at it.
I learned I would love to be on a long space trip back with those two ladies.
I learned slow robots who can toss people around will use rocks to bash them in the head rather than their strength to kill. Except they used their strength to kill everyone else.
I learned Sledgehammer girl was married to Michael Crichton.
I learned I knew I saw Governor Nikki in something before. The Poseidon Adventure.
I learned this was a canuxploitaion movie, eh.
I learned John Ireland did a better film with Roger Corman than he did with this lot. Yes, I'm talking about you, Gunslinger.
I learned either the guys didn't watch Space:1999 or the jokes were too obscure. Barry Morse talking about moon colonies and no references.

That's got to be right up there with not thinking of Battlestar Galactica during SPACE MUTINY
