Streaming live TV services

Since I've now tried 3 live TV streaming services I thought I'd give my thoughts.

I had SlingTV a few years ago but canceled it since I wasn't using it much.

Since I want to watch more Phillies games this year I looked into restarting that, but to get the local sports channels you have to do add-ons that drive the price higher than Hulu or YouTube TV.

So, since I already had a Hulu subscription I tried that, mostly works well, some pausing and stuttering but only on certain channels.  Big issue is the DVR, it is crap, sports always go longer than the time listed in the guide and the DVR doesn't adjust, so the ends of games are always cut off.  Unless you pay extra the DVR is limited to 50 hours and doesn't let you skip commercials.  So I switched my plan back to regular Hulu and am going with YouTube TV, I was past the 5 day free trial time so I will get hit with an extra $40 this month.

YouTube TV is the same price $40/month, I have not noticed any stuttering or pausing, and the DVR is way better, it's unlimited time but only stores for 9 months, you can fast forward and rewind without getting stuck in commercials, and for live games it seems to adjust to the extra time.

There is no windows app or an app for the FireTV, but I have a Roku on every TV and the browser access seems fine for the computer.
