That was sweet.

Especially the multiple penalties in a row to eat up the clock, watching Belichick get so pissed about something he would certainly do if he had the chance.

He did actually.. Vrabel pulled the same penalty trick vs. the Pats that Belichick ran against the Jets.
What comes around goes around >:D

OH with the Patriots' loss to Titans means the Buffalo Bills remain the only team to make it to 4 straight Super Bowls! Sorry Tommy ;D

They definitely have the players to compete with the best but falling apart in the 2nd half needs to be addressed and corrections made for next season :-\

#171
Another overtime playoff game, and another Vikings shocker as the Saints are 1 & Done :o

MartyS (Gromit)

Now we are playing with our 40 year old backup QB.  Looks like Wentz is out with a head injury.  Our other backup QB is not active.

Only good thing is the defense is playing great so the seahags haven't been able to do much.

RVR II

McCown is no Foles unfortunately :-\

Hope the Eagles can find a way to overcome the Seahags..

Ron Rivera is the new HC for the Redskins and now Mike McCarthy is the new HC for the Cowchips..
The NFC East might be getting a little more difficult to compete with in the 2020s :o

ihavemyreasons

Both the Redskins and the Cowboys have owners who are too involved making decisions that should be left to football professionals. I could see McCarthy suceeding for a few years in Dallas just because they're not totally terrible, but don't see anyone suceeding in Washington.

RVR II

I don't know much about the Skins owner but Ron Rivera knows how to build a family of players and coach them but Jerry Jones is too much of a control freak and I can see him contradicting McCarthy creating another rift like he did with Jimmy Johnson

RVR II

The Panthers swooped in and hired Baylor coach Matt Rhule in a stealth move. One big draw was Panthers owner David Tepper being willing to put money into the sports science program that Rhule wants.
Don't know much about this guy so we'll see what he can do :-\

ihavemyreasons

I think pretty highly of Ron Rivera- would probably even want him as a coach over McCarty- but Dan Snyder (Redskins owner) is too impatient. Not saying his decision making is worse then Jerry Jones, only that Jones will make decisions and live with those decisions where as Snyder wants eveything to work right away and is more likely to make changes (both coaching and player changes) too quickly.
