Hi, I see that you can use Sharecrow to automatically sync up the rifftrax with the dvd. How do a find these files. I need one for Star Wars Ep 1. Thanks, ccso151

Smoky

Apparently you can find them by searching in the Sharecrow device.

Greetings, New Poster(s)!  As of now, my feelings toward you are completely neutral! May they remain neutral or better for many a month, before you say something that annoys me slightly until about a week later when I forget about it! Then, may they remain neutral again!
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

If you can't find a .cro file for the movie you want to watch, it's very easy to sync them up by hand.

Just check out the Rifftrax tutorial on the Sharecrow website!

Coherent

It isn't easy to sync them up by hand, it's a pretty big pain in the booty.  Well worth the effort, of course, but I wouldn't say it's something that any average viewer has the patience to do.

Sharecrow needs to implement an automatic synchronization method based on audible beeps or something to sync early and late stages of the video to the external audio feed.  I'm kind of tempted to try to write some code for it myself, although it would be a pretty significant effort.

Coherent

Also, the tutorial instructions in the Rifftrax/Sharecrow setup page did not correspond exactly to the setup process.  It was close, and contained useful information, but following them step-by-step I encountered significant differences.  Somebody needs to re-write that page to follow the Sharecrow setup and sync process exactly.
