Quicksilver

I so wish this was available right now, I had such a god awful day. I could really use a stupid movie like this.
The Ood: The Beast and his armies will rise from the pit to make war against God.
Rose: I'm sorry?
The Ood: Apologies. I said: I hope you enjoy your meal.

Another new movie...  I've not yet seen Eragon, but I guess I'll have to catch it before the Riff comes out.  Eep.

Generally I recommend seeing a movie before watching it with RiffTrax, but somehow I don't think that's the case here.

What is it about the line "NELL!" that never fails to crack me up? It did on MST3K and it still does.  ;D

I like some of these high grossing bad films, because most of them I'd never see otherwise

I wanted to see this, and after hearing the reviews (From mods on this forum no less) I was glad I didn't. I figured it was only a matter of a DVD release and a couple weeks. :^)

Hmmm either 9th or 11th -- my calendar says 11th

Anyway! I strongly encourage anyone that watches the movie with the riff to stay through the credits... holy crap -- good times.....

So did we get an official word on which date it is? :^)

torgosPizza

It's coming out the 9th!

What's that about an Announcement? RiffTrax in the NY Times???

yup, this movie is a total loss... trust me I tried to watch this and failed miserably... Mike and Kevin you are saints! ;D

Yay! One from my Top Ten! I avoided seeing this movie the entire time my theatre had it, but the noxious cloud it emanates dogged me for weeks.

From the old Dudly Do-Right cartoons.   His girlfriend was named Nell and whenever he spoke to her or sensed she was in danger he would yell in this nasely voice "NELL!".

This movie is too embarrassing for me to rent. I think I'll pass.

Really?  A lot of people rent that one.  I think it'd just be a drop in the bucket.  It's nowhere near Crossroads.

Oh, it's just as embarrassing as Crossroads for me. More. At least with Crossroads, you can lie and say that you have a girlfriend who wants to see it (I don't think I can get hammered enough in order to rent Crossroads with a straight face, though). With Eragon, I might as well show up wearing a T-shirt reading "THIS PERSON HAS NEVER HAD SEX AND NEVER WILL" in large red letters.

Or you could always take the movie up to the counter, hand the cashier your money, and leave without conversing with them about your rental choice.  Intriguing!  :o

Even renting the film without saying anything is embarrassing.

You pansy.

I purchased Aeon Flux and Troll/Troll2 on the same night, with my head held high.

I saw this in theaters at the behest of my sister who is a big fan of the books. It wasn't even five minutes into the film and I was already having to hold myself back from riffing on the movie out loud (so as not to piss her off). Man this is a great choice for a rifftrax!
