Conan hasnt lost his edge he has just changed because he is has to adapt slightly for when he takes over the Tonight Show...just like Letterman changed when he went to CBS, not bad changes but necassary for mass consumption.

As for him being a guest Riffer...it would be so awesome but they may need to choose a movie where he doesn't insult any future guests.

    I want to throw out another name for consideration,  Cassandra Peterson AKA Elvira.  There were 3 double feature DVDs released this week of Elvira's Movie Macabre and the title "Count Dracula's Great Love" called out to me.  I realize having just Elvira's voice without her visual presence leaves something to be desired, but the idea of Mike doing Rifftrax with any of the classic tv horror hosts appeals to me.
   Any other midnight movie hosts out there who you think could keep up with Mike??

Gotta be Kimmel.  Living in LA in the late 90's, I was privvy to his work as the general comedy guy on KROQ's Kevin & Bean show.  The stuff he did with Carolla during those days is just classic, classic stuff.  Karl Malone, Mr. Birchum (who still shows up on Crank Yankers), the horny elf, and so much more.  He's got a great mind for satirical comedy.

  Who was that, the Oak Ridge Boys?  Talk about your obscure referrence!  Although I went to school in a tiny, tiny town named Elvira through grade school, so the song was well known around here.
