I think Fathom Events may have jumped the gun.  https://www.fathomevents.com/events/rifftrax-live-samurai-cop?date=2017-04-13

They did, but the cat's officially out of the bag, now.

D'oh!  Didn't see the Kickstarter page.  Glad they're doing another shorts-only show.

They're going to need another gorilla gram.

i guess cineplex wasn't happy with how starship troopers went? too bad. no canada showings, no pledge from me.

Still disappointed we'll likely never get a Mothra download since I wasn't able to see it in the theater. And I prefer live shows that aren't repeats of movies that have already been riffed. Bonuses of shorts I already own aren't much of an incentive either. But I just threw in my $50. I think that's the level I've donated everytime and I definitely feel I've gotten that amount of value each time.

For what it's worth, you'll get credit toward any shorts you already owned, so you can use them to buy new stuff.

And that they got that system working is bloody amazing.

Hey folks, I see that the Samurai Cop Live Show is up for pre-order for download/streaming... any idea if it will be offered as physical media?

Oh just wondering...

[Pak-Man]

One of the stretch goals was to have Samurai Cop released on Blu-ray and DVD, and that stretch goal was met.

Not answering anyone's question, but surprised by a rare DEERxTaco appearance.

[BEERxTaco]

heh heh heh

I still lurk around here on occasion, and I'm a faithful attendee of all the live shows at my local theater. Just don't have as much time for casual discourse as I once did (SAD!).

That's what I thought, great! In that case i will just pick up my ration of back catalog items and patiently await the Blu-Ray. Thanks!!
