Can't wait for tonight. Took off part of the day and got my mother-in-law to watch the squirt for the night, so in addition to the momentous occasion of seeing Mike and Joel simul-riffing a short, I get my first date night in a couple months.

Flew up to Minneapolis yesterday. Am eagerly counting down the minutes to start walking over to the State Theatre!

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the pre show? we paid for our tickets and went to see the show that was being sent via live feed to our theater and we got there a good hour early was in the theater at least 40 minutes prior to the show starting (along with everyone else there) expecting to watch the pre-show and we all sat there in a silent blank theater with nothing on the screen (not even the usual stuff before a movie at all) till 5 minutes before the show was to start then they fast forwarded through the pre-show (we watched it zip by right before our eyes all the while promising to show it too us after a sound check) then the regular show started soon as they were done fast forwarding through so we never got to see the pre show and then at the end of the show during the credits before it was 2 minutes into the credits they shut it off and did not let us watch the end either. NOT OK! needless to say we were upset, I just found this forum and wondered if anyone knew where we could find the pre-show to watch??

Well the pre show, if you've never seen one, is a bunch of title cards that are parodies of the kind that used to come before movies. You might not be able to see the actual show with music, but usually someone makes a gallery of the cards that you can peruse.

Yes the cards with the trivia that is exactly what I am talking about thank you. Yes we were looking forward to all that. honestly didnt know if there was more than the trivia cards but even if it was just that still would have liked to seen it. I mean we felt we paid so very much for the tickets (twice what a movie is at least) and so we felt gypped is all. we felt we should have been allowed to see the pre show. We were all there for it and everyone in the theater was complaining about it and the guy said 'we will show it after a quick sound check' then zoomed through it so fast we could not do more than watch it fly by then shut it off and started the regular show. we were all upset. of course there was other stuff to complain about the theater with how it is over 120 here in AZ and they did not have the AC on in the theater so hot that people were throwing up over it (seriously bad and it is the only theater that had the live feed in the area!) but just trying to find a way to see the preshow stuff if you could tell me where to find it that would be awesome.... thank you!
