Thought it would be good to have a generic thread for these things.  I've been looking at them for a while and they always seemed way overpriced to me.

Someone at work got a DKnight MagicBox II and the sound from it is really nice, and it's not too much money at $35.

So I got one from Amazon and it is a pretty amazing little box.

Wow, just noticed I put USB instead of Bluetooth in the title

All BT speakers I have heard sound pretty small, saving the Bose SoundLink speakers I got my wife for a birthday a few years ago.  I love it.  But it's now our TV speakers, because the built in TV speakers blew out.

That was also my complaint when hearing them, never made sense to pay almost a hundred bucks for something that wasn't much better than laptop speakers, but this little box from DKnight sounds like a full size speaker.  It's got 2 speakers on the front about an inch in diameter, and a large oval one on the back.  Not sure if the oval on the back is active or passive, but it does seem to be responsible for the bass.
