This argument is like saying winning the First World War was pointless because there were more wars. The world continued- their victory stands. There are more stories.

Except this is supposed to be a fairy tale. Not history.  The good guys are supposed to win. That's the point.  Not moral ambiguity or shades of grey.

Nah, they are space operas, not fairy tales.

And the good guys did win. And now they are telling another story where I am betting the good guys will win.

Not the good guys that matter.

I don't think he's seen The Last Jedi, and if he saw the Force Awakens it was via rental.

If that's true, don't let any possible spoilers you might have heard dissuade you from going. There's a lot to love in this movie. Even if any spoilers you've heard are indeed true, it's not a matter of the film being spoiled, it's more a matter of how the dramatic event is in fact executed on screen.

as big bads go snoke ended up as a afterthought and kylo is just going to have one movie as the supreme leader, heck the sith emperor from Star Wars: The Old Republic game was a better bad guy than those two.

I don't think he's seen The Last Jedi, and if he saw the Force Awakens it was via rental.

I doubt an adult would spend their time crying about a movie they hadn't seen on the internet .

Apparently there is a guy on a mission to bring down the RT audience score of The Last Jedi using bots:

I'd also like to point out the score on IMDB, which is a 7.9 out of 10 after about 127,948 votes, give or take. That's pretty good all things considered. Hell, even Wrath of Khan only holds a 7.7 on the IMDB as of now.
