So you've seen some of the show Entourage? And you don't find Johnny Drama funny. Am I in a nightmare?

I have seen three and a bit seasons of Entourage, and I do find Johnny Drama funny, I was just making a joke :)

I don't find him funny enough to keep watching the show though.

Oh, thank goodness. You're ok in my book, ah I can look back now and laugh at myself.

Anyhoo, I do plan on seeing that Hitman movie, and when I inevitably like it, I'm going to write a stern letter to AVclub.

Edward J Grug III

No worries! I hope you both enjoy Hitman and tear The AV Club a new one!
FINE

I liked Centipede 3, not as much as 2 but it was decent

Fury Road should have been on there.
Maybe not the worst, but not all that much better then human centipede either.

I disagree.  Probably one of the better action movies I've seen and much better than Thunderdome.  Felt like a return to form for Miller.

You are welcome to hour opinion but you are in a dramatic minority

Ummm... Where were Pixels and Fantastic Four?!

Pak-Man

I feel like everyone just assumed those movies were bad and nobody ever made it to the theater to check. Maybe they were OK-ish? Probably not. _I_ don't wanna be the one to see Pixels to find out. I volunteer to be the guy to see Fantastic Four, though. :^)

I saw Fantastic Four and... so disappointed.

This article must have come out before The Ridiculous Six.

Really? The reviews I saw indicated that it was just as bad as the trailers made it look.

I really wanted to like Pixels, because it had a 80's family adventure film feel to it, but if they had hired another screenwriter,  instead of one whose past film credits involved writing the majority of only, and I do mean only, Adam Sandler films (surprise, surprise), it could have worked out.  And why do I think that Adam Sandler's future lies in him doing animated films instead of doing live action films?

As for Fantastic Four, it's just bad all around.  It seems like it's full of those things we don't want to see and void of those things we really want to see to the point that during the climatic battle with Dr. Doom, it feels so empty that if you described the battle in more detail than the sentence "The Fantastic Four fought Dr. Doom and won" it would actually be a waste of words.

The problem with Pixels (aside from the fact it's Adam Sandler and not at all funny) was that other than the original setup, it's still just a very cliche "military has to get unlikely heroes to save the world" movie. It would have been better if they had subverted that, maybe by having the gamers just think they were helping when it was really the military beating the aliens.
