This is the one riff I can never get to work.

Every time I try to play the riff with my copy of the film, it goes several seconds out of sync in the opening scene (specifically at the moment when Dryden pulls the gun on Bond). Is there any way around this? I'm working with the iTunes version, for reference.

Yeah unfortunately there are at least 3 cuts of the film. What mp3 are you using?

Right now I'm using the Region 1 version. I've tried the uncut version as well, but that didn't work. Haven't tried the UK cut mp3 yet.

Have you tried using an actual disc based version?  The Itunes could very well be a different transfer which could affect sync. Seen that type of thing before.  I used the region 1 DVD as well as the Region A blu-ray (and the NTSC MP3) and didn't have any sync issues whatsoever.

I've managed to get it figured out. You have to play with it a few times during the opening, but after that it's in sync.
