That footage looked pretty good. The Senate hearings seem like a nod to the recent Civil War storyline from the comics. And apparently they didn't take long to address Tony's alcoholism.

I'm not a fan of replacing an actor and trying to play it off as the same character though, as is the case with Don Cheadle. I'm sure he'll be great, but it's just distracting to me. And i'm so completely sick of Samuel L... Putting him in that eye patch and black leather trench coat just makes things worse. Where's Hasselhoff when you need him? 

Otherwise, it's looking awesome so far. War Machine!

I used the abbreviation as a sort of reference to DOOM. I'm not one for text-message shorthand myself, but it seemed to fit pretty well. And if that post passes for a joke up there, i think i see why all the funny Canadians flee to America.

From the bits I've heard of the plot, it sounds okay.  I'm really not sold on Whiplashes design though.  I'm also a little worried that in trying to set up a future Avengers movie, it might be trying to do a little too much.
