Doctor Who?

Here's hoping that Marvel doesn't phone it in on the next one.

Er, Iron Man was always in danger of not being very good for a franchise. I can see it going straight to DVD like Darkman. The good news is Hollywood has a boner for trilogies, so you only ever have to have three distinct ideas before it's somebody else's problem. They can always change the tone and make the next one darker, set it somewhere less boring, and have a better Stark-Cave. Also, goddamn War Machine.

Doctor Who?

I just hope the next one isn't a retread that kills Marvel comic book movies.

I really want to see The Cap on the big screen.

I don't feel like starting a new post but here's some Avengers related news.

The director of Jurassic Park 3?  The movie that somehow managed to make Tea Leoni even more grating and horrible than usual?

Huh.  Questionable.  In fairness though, I deeply love Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and October Sky.

If that's the case, I absolutely won't be seeing it. :)

Oh yes you will.  It's a guaranteed Rifftrax.

Why do you have a "usual" opinion of "Tea Leoni"? Unless you watched all her movies thinking she was Sergio.

QuoteFlying Blind is a single season 1992 Fox network half-hour situation comedy revolving around awkward post-collegian Neil Barash (Corey Parker) who by serendipity, meets beautiful libertine Alicia

Damn, I bet David wishes he'd married Alicia not Téa.

Don't really wanna start a new thread so:

QuoteMickey Rourke (The Wrestler) and Sam Rockwell (Frost/Nixon) are in talks to star as the villains in Marvel Studios' Iron Man 2, being directed by Jon Favreau from a script by Justin Theroux, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

THR says that Rourke would play a tattooed Russian heavy named Ivan who becomes a man with deadly, technologically enhanced coils. Variety adds that Rourke would play the Crimson Dynamo. "He's considered to be an evil version of Iron Man because he battles the superhero in a nuclear-powered suit of armor," says the trade.

Rockwell would play Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and a rival of industrialist Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, being played by a returning Robert Downey Jr.

Thorns of Crimson Death

Well a friend of mine told me over the weekend that Terrence Howard won't be returning as Jim Rhodes.  Apparently he wants too much money and if it's true then say goodbye to the notion of a "Warmachine" movie any time soon.  I also heard that Don Cheadle may take his place but I can't see him fitting the role as well as Howard did.
A spell was cast and the sky turned red.  The Angel's heart froze to ice.  Roses of blood from an innocent soul.  On the plain lies an Angel dead.

Cheadle has already taken his place. Howard wanted too much money.
