I believe all the other films Rhino released have been put out by Shout in their Shout Singles series. But if this does well, maybe they'll repackage those.

I suspect Amazing Colossal Man is unlikely to ever happen. If they do manage to crack the Susan Hart vault, they'll probably put those all out in one set.

Yeah the only episodes that have ever been offered either by Rhino or Shout that won't be on a set after this one comes out are Beginning of the End, Batwoman, and Red Zone Cuba. Unless you count Amazing Colossal Man, which Shout seems to think is never gonna happen.

I don't know if they're trying to get those unreleased episodes or not. They have some motivation to, since they're running out of ways to profit off of MST3K. Based on how much of their site they devote to it, I think they want to keep milking that cow however they can. But they called the last set and even went so far as to release a disc with nothing but host segments from the remaining episodes, so it doesn't sound like they're optimistic.

I am hoping that more merch starts coming out...  So far there really hasn't been anything that catches my eye.... The Official MST3K store is Zazzle levels of quality/style..  I like Zen Monkey's enamel pins ok enough.  Think Geek's is ok.  There just hasn't been anything that is MUST BUY NOW for me.

Speaking of which, did they ever solve the issue of the Infinity Gauntlet oven mitts that melted? I loved the idea of that, and the pictures of it looked really good. But I heard about the Loot Crate recall.

If we have the technology to selectively extract audio from a recording so that people can record new duets with long-dead musicians, what's to stop Shout! from extracting the riffs from the unreleased episodes and releasing them as syncable commentary tracks?  Surely many of these films for which an MST3K episode license can't be obtained do have non-MST3K DVD releases.  Some editing would be required to properly space out some of the riffs with the original, unedited films, but anybody with a little experience with a wave editor can do that easily.

I think some riff-only releases would be preferable to the episodes never being released.
