Finally updated the thread with the actuals.

Norbit Deathwatch is now at no. 37!
(is it wrong to pray for the death of a movie you've never seen? ;D )

Grindhouse won't have easy numbers to match up internationally either as I've read that it's being released as two separate films in most of the world.  That probably won't be the first DVD release over here since we'll have the full Grindhouse effect to start but eventually both will be re-released as expanded versions, giving many of us built-in reasons to end up with 3 DVDs.
Anybody got the numbers for how many screens Grindhouse is playing on?   I have the feeling it opened on considerably fewer than 3000+ screens.

Grindhouse (2624) versus Blades of Glory (3410)

Pretty much an undisputed bomb by "traditional" standards :(

They might split it and rerelease it here in the states too.

Yahoo!'s numbers don't include per-theatre, and therefore should not be used:

All they did was divide the gross by the theater numbers, but yeah that is a cool stat for figuring out if a movie is over achieving or underachieving, I'll add a column and source it for ya Bennie (last week I was experimenting with the budjet column that boxofficemojo gives). I'll use this template again next week, but if I forget just remind me again. I also added a column for "days in" which I find pretty interesting.

oops, I just realized some of the new theater numbers don't totally match up towards the bottom of the list, maybe blending sources isn't a good idea... I'll just go with "the-numbers" and dump yahoo (...in the future that is... too lazy to fix anything that doesn't match - plus most everyone that is interested has already seen the Box Office thread)
