Don't forget to abandon the girl on the beach, leaving her stranded and possibly in danger...from any wandering pervert.  Well, another  wandering pervert.

Well, considering the alternative is to stay with her and he'll kill her when he becomes the Sun Demon.

It is however a situation he wouldn't have been in in the first place had he taken her LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE! Hell, she was practically throwing herself at him, she definitely would have gone back to his house with him.

Denying us another protracted scene of him driving up the mountain!

I think he was a victim of his time; if he had access to the internet, the whole problem could have been avoided.

Ah, Internet porn and dozens of forced-tabs and malware. Is there anything you can't solve?

I learned that the dad from A Date With Your Family is British.

I didn't really get a "demon" vibe from him. He was more like a sun jack-ass. Which he already was before being exposed to an isotope of an unnamed element.

Speaking of which, I have my doubts that the same people that wrote a toy train into the script as a safe way to transport radioactive material, actually knew what an isotope was.

That was before he moved to Fire Island.

Holy crap was that the same guy?

Pastor of Muppets

I learned that you can have a serious disability that makes it dangerous to go out into the sun and still pretty much not try very hard to avoid the sun.

Seriously, this movie drove me nuts.  This guy had a disability that was really not THAT hard to deal with.  You can live a nocturnal life.  It's probably a lot harder back then, but he could have TRIED.  Early on, the guys quipped that a convertible was a bad choice of car for this guy.  There are SO MANY builds of car that would have been more appropriate.  Or.... crazy idea... PUT THE DAMN TOP UP.  This drives me insane.  In every movie and TV show everywhere, any time there is a convertible, the top is always down.  Day or night, winter, spring, summer, or fall, the top is ALWAYS down.  I drove a convertible for several years, and rarely put the top down.  Because there are two dominant weather conditions that cover most of the year:

1) It's too cold to put the top down.  Generally, if it's less than about 70 degrees, this is the case.  70 degrees is warm, but having the top down on a convertible creates a lot of wind and drops the temperature considerably.  Maybe 65 degrees if you're not on the highway.
2) It's too hot and you'd rather have the air conditioner on.  This generally becomes the case at 85 degrees or higher.

Anyway, that rant aside, I thought this riff was overall a dud.  I found the movie too dull and drab and boring to be entertained by the riffing.  I have to be at least somewhat engaged in the original movie to enjoy the riffing.  The movie has to be entertaining on some level for riffing to add to it.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.
