Yeah, one category at a time.  I say leave things open so Ed can get in there and maybe we'll have a fifth nominee.

We've got till next Friday, I've already got my list, though it's at work.

I'm not convinced it makes it that much harder, given that really we're all pulling from the same 15 ish films right? I mean, if not like it's of all time and you have to consider so many things... But, cool, whatever the group wants to do.

So just to be clear, these five nominations for now are based on everyone's list of actual nominees (and only five allowed on their list), with these four so far being the most mentioned, and still one slot free, right?

That is how I figured out the current standings, yes. Of course, that is just as it stands now. We have until Friday.

I think we might want to just stick with Best Picture for now. Keep things simple while we work out the kinks, then add in more categories when we come back for another year.

So this is what I was thinking:
We have until Friday for everyone to submit a list. Then I get the 5 nominees from that. Once everyone signs off and says "Yes, that is a good way to do it," I will request the submissions for the remaining categories.

Like Relaxing Dragon said, I am just keeping it simple while we work out the kinks. I want everyone to be involved in how the format should go
