Microphone Recommendations

[The Lurker]

Anyone want to recommend some good PC microphones?  The ones built into my headphones don't seem to be cutting it at all.

I use a microphone called modmic. http://www.modmic.com

It's a microphone with an adhesive mount that you can stick on any pair of headphones. This allowed me to use my nice bose headphones I already owned for gaming instead of paying more money for a pair of gaming headphones with inferior sound quality. I highly recommend it.

EDIT: However, it depends on what you are planning to use the mic for. Modmic is great for gaming, but you might want something a little more professional if you're looking to do any audio recording.
