Yep.  It's Alexandro Jodorowsky.  Me and Qbeenie mentioned him over in the art films thread.  He makes very, very, weird films.  Though oddly beautiful.

It's listed on Netflix... I'm kinda tempted to queue it up.  For some reason it would be a fun concept to riff on it's complete insantiy, yet I think half the time we would be staring at the TV going "What the hell did we just see?"

DUDE!  Keep that shit away from me!  As part of the normal "captioning" on the Cap-Page Board (see http://www.rifftrax.com/smf/index.php?topic=2532.0 for info), that one was posted.  It made my soul hurt deeply!  The scars will never heal.  And that was just still screengrabs!  I don't want to see it in motion.  EVER.   :gouge:
There are screengrabs and captions posted at the Glitterdome (click the top banner at the Board), but I'm not sure what gallery they're in, or what pages they're on.

i actually have this and it is awesome its my favorite jodorowski flick  i like it better than el topo, santa sangre and fando
the movie is crazy so if you like weird shit you'll love this
Ninjas don't kill people, Pat Morita playing a ninja kills people.

It is playing in the theater here in town this week. There is a new Jodorowski box set coming out on May 1 with this flick, El Topo and Fando Y Lis as well as soundtrack cds. I have been waiting for a real US release for years of these flicks!!

I'm the type of person that prefers Stained Glass to Picasso, relatively same technique (of course different materials) but completely separate in form and style.  This movie showcases what I guess could be related as "chaotic beauty", though its still gibberish in plot to me.
