I have returned!

Actually, I've returned to Rifftrax for about the past 8 months now. I noticed that the dead cat jokes were nowhere near as constant or disturbing as they once were. They aren't gone completely, and I never needed them to be. I just didn't want to have to hear them on EVERY RT that I shelled out for. And there have been some GREAT ones since you last saw my mug around these parts. Wow. Love the latest, Beast of the Yellow Night. Huge Guy From Harlem fan. Jeepers, just about all the VODs have been gold. And the recent short interviewing public toilet cleaners and their feelings about a job well done - that one had me on the floor. And I have exposed three good friends to Rifftrax by putting "Goodbye Weeds" in front of them. I absolutely love Kevin's theme song on that one, and the thing itself is so funny without the riffs it's hard to stop laughing even if I've seen it several times.

What have I been doing in my hiatus? I wish I could say "lots of really cool stuff" but the truth is I've been a slug. I am seriously thinking of getting back on drugs again. I thought three years of sobriety would turn me into a new woman. All it has done is made life suck more. Thankfully, there's my addiction to Rifftrax to pull me through the bad times.

Love and sprockets,
Merry........

just noticed it is 4 September 2014. I signed into this forum on this date in 2009. 5 years, minus 2013... and there's no way for me to know when I took my vacation, euphemistically speaking.

Hi wurwolf and Lembach...glad you are still around!
