Could you hear the Riff tonight @ Godzilla?

Had a whole lot of trouble hearing tonight's Riff tonight, as well as last time's presentation of Sharknado. Was wondering if it was my theater, or if other people are having similar issues.

This was probably the worst sound mix of all the live shows. The riff volume was low, and kept getting buried. At times the movie audio was fluctuating as well. Even Kevin was asking for audio from the stage.  I saw it at the Regal Cinema 16 in whatever city near Richmond, VS.

Had the same problem at the theater I was at. The audio was all over the place. Even the riffs went from soft to loud in a single sentence.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

I had the same issue in Houston. This really needs to be fixed.

Riffing was by and large inaudible.  There were some moments where the balance between the movie and the riffing seemed right but most often it seemed the movie was drowning out the riffing.  As I described it in the other thread, for the most part it sounded to me like Mike, Kevin and Bill were talking into cold mikes and another set of hot mikes just barely in range of them was picking up their lines.

Very disappointed. :(

I felt this was their weakest live Riff audio quality, yep. (A Twitter search for "@rifftrax audio" -- no quotes -- pulls up a lot of live folks having similar issues.)

It was the same in Tulsa.  Some of the jokes in Starship Troopers were hard to hear over the surround sound soundtrack, but this was a waste of time and money. I'm probably not going back for Anaconda, I'll wait until they do another monaural film.

I dunno, the balance in Sharknado seemed about right and I'm guessing it had stereo sound too.

There was a problem at my Denver showing for the first few minutes, but by the end of the opening credits, there wasn't much of a problem.

Soguru

I and some friends couldn't hear a lot of the jokes because the movie was a lot louder than the riffers. :(
Probably about 25% to 30% of the jokes were inaudible in my theater because the sound levels in the movie were
higher than Mike, Bill and Kevin.

Major disappointment in Spokane at our theater as well. Audio levels were terrible. Whenever the special effects coupled with the movie's soundtrack was at peak levels, the riff audio was completely inaudible. Three quarters of the film matches that description, so we pretty much heard zilch.  :-[

Century Theater in the Bay Area of California here. It wasn't so bad in our theater. Occasionally one of the mikes would suddenly get too quiet, or too loud, but by and large all the jokes came through.

We had a lot of trouble hearing it at the Cinemark 18 in Los Angeles. We were really disappointed it didn't play the AMC Century City 15, where I've seen all of the Rifftrax Live shows. The Cinemark (used to be The Bridge, then Rave) really has gone downhill-- but the volume was too low and they had video problems in the beginning, with us missing the new animated intro (and no, I'm not paying to download something I should have seen in the cost of my ticket tonight).

I had a lot of trouble hearing it in Australia too, stood on the beach and tilted my head towards the Americas but it didn't help

Same.
