I've tracked down where I read about this. It looks like only a 1-second cut, so it shouldn't be a major headache to fix.

Cheers,

Nigel, let us know what you find out as far as the cut goes, if your PAL version has that bit cut out or not.

MrCyNic

I have the Region 4 version of the DVD, which is PAL format, but Australian rather than UK. There's definitely a headbutt during the fight in my version, which occurs 59m and 15s into the film. If the UK version has indeed been cut, then I reckon that's where the edit would be.

Douglin

Yeah the UK version has a head-butt cutout during the Jango Fett/Obi Wan fight scene.

It says it's a 1 second cut but it's probably a fraction of a second, the same thing as with XXX there was a single headbutt cut-out of that too.

PlayMSTie, MarkAndrew also knew who Chad Vader was. Well, and me - I've been a huge fan of the Chad Vader show since they started producing episodes last summer.

Ah YES!  I get home from work Friday and find out the dream is reality!   This is going to be SO funny!

The_Flash

Well, I never heard of the Chad Vader series so I looked it up on youtube.  After watching it, I really don't think it is all that funny.  In fact, I thought it was kind of bad.  I think I would rather have Mike riff these corny episodes.

I'm hoping this little tie in doesn't ruin the 'Trax.

BobEvil

See, I've only even watched Chad Vader because I heard he was doing the track and I thought he was pretty damn funny. I'm looking forward to this track myself!

I've never watched Chad Vader and never heard of him.

For people like me, do I need to watch the YouTube stuff before I watch this rifftrax?
'cause, I'd prefer not...I'd rather see how he does without any background influence.

I was in the same sorta boat with Lowtax, and I kept an open mind when I watched Troll2. And I thought Lowtax did a great job.

I think it depends. I like to know what style of humor to expect from guest riffers, so I checked out somethingawful.com and the Chad Vader series; both things convinced me that Lowtax and Chad would be great on riffs. If you really wish to avoid advance influence, I would say that Chad's shtick is pretty apparent (and pretty funny) from the outset.

Chad Vader is not "riffing" on the movie in the same vein as Mike and Kevin, so don't worry.

FrensaGeran

These mysterious comments leave me curious in a good way.

The standard (but hilarious, don't get me wrong) Mike + Kevin + ? making fun of the movie and that's it routine could always use some spice. The laugh track in Battlefield: Earth is what sold me as that being the best rifftrax yet.

I hope whatever it is Chad Vader will be doing will add some new blood to the...can we call it a franchise yet? I think once you make energy gumballs, you're a franchise. I looked it up.  ;D

Well, watching the BTS stuff and updates of Chad Vader, that Matt Sloan seems like a pretty funny guy. Plus, his main talent lies in Vader's voice work, so that will be good in the commentary to have a strong voice.

I assume that he will be riffing in his Vader voice, but will not let the Vader persona choke out everything else in the room. No pun intended.
