FORTY QUESTIONS

Good Day, humanoids -- it's time for a special edition of Twenty Questions. I have some tricks up my flippers, so we're doing things my way today, which is a two-part 20 Questions Extravaganza -- No No, don't cheer, just yet -- I don't want this to be a "happy" announcement persay, because it has nothing to do with me.

However, despite my best efforts, you're probably going to like this announcement anyway, so here goes:

PART 1

You have twenty questions alotted to guess the next movie. The general rules are the same as usual. My special rules go thusly:
- Your questions must include a quote from a Mel Brooks movie (and still make sense to me).
- The quote must be at least one sentence long, and be identifiable as a uniquely Mel Brooks quote (don't use the word "the" and say it's from a Mel Brooks movie....)
- For examples: check out the previous Twenty Qs game (some people inserted questions into Monty Python quotes).

PART 2

You have twenty questions alotted to guess the guest riffer. No it's not me, tho it should be because I'm prime minister. However, the guest riffer is a rather jolly humanoid, and I see a lot of me in this particular someone (red herrings are fun)..... My special rules go thusly:
- Your question must include a quote from Andrew Lloyd Weber's "Jesus Christ Superstar"
- (Same basic idea as Part 1's rules)

Have fun humanoids.... the game starts at 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time

Please note the time - 2 o'clock PM Pacific Standard time! We had to push back due to network difficulties, and also the fact that we humans are hungry!

So do these run concurrently or sequentially? I'm assuming the latter, or some people's heads might  esplode.

obvioulsy the first question for the guest riffer should be "did they world on mst3k?" and don't go crazy guessing names from the start, if it ends up being someone new we're gonna need all the questions we have.

JCS quotes: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070239/quotes

So, like this ?
"One thing I'll say for him, Jesus is cool, but not as cool as this person because they worked on mst3k, didn't they?"

So, we could put something like "It!... Could... Work!.... for me if the movie if from after 2000. Is that the case?"

gammer

So once we solve part 1, we then move on to part 2?

Me likes, what me hears

Everybody should start working on a list of obvious quotes from Mel Brooks films and Jesus Christ Superstar.

I can think of a ton from Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, but I'm not too sure how to work them into questions.

And let me also add...

Woo Hoo!!!  Guest Riffer!!!!!   ;D

robertraur

I imagine if you use a quote from Zoidberg, they won't notice maybe?
Anytime someone offers you 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it.
Lets just say if John Mellancamp ever wins an Oscar, I'll be a rich man.

"I've got to know! I've got to know! Is the guest riffer Joel?"

Ah, Christ.  I only know Godspell.

"Excuse me while I whip this out.  This question that is.  Is the movie a sci-fi?"

"Mongo only pawn in game of life.  Speaking of games, is the movie based on a video game?"

Would either of these questions be allowed?

AmazingThor

I think this is Da Penguin's way of telling us his ambition go far beyond the White House. Da Penguin for deity?
