Going back to Ain't It Cool for a sec.  One of the main guys over there, Quint, is named Eric Vespe.  That would mean that he fits all the clues, but how well known is he that everyone here would have "heard" his name.

I'd imagine that his involvement would also mean a big write-up on AICN, which would bring lots of eyeballs to Rifftrax.

Ok, this guy is very well-known, his website is not about bad movies, but it is movie-related.  In order to do a RiffTrax, he has to be a comedian or someone who is known for criticizing movies.

Isn't it plausible that this guy is an actor of some sort?  We haven't established that the guy necessarily reviews movies, but he could be an actor who primarily does comedies.

Edit:  Ok, so he's primarily best known for Internet work, but he still could be an actor/comedian.

Depends on how we define "name," I suppose.  His nom de cyber is pretty well-known as the Ahab-like boat captain in "Jaws."  Could be a sneaky way of saying we've 'heard' the name.
