At least wait to see how the first one goes before you make the sequel, Lionsgate.

Surely that's a good sign?
No, it just means the business executives are greedy.

Which means they wouldn't be planning a sequel already if they didn't expect the first one to make money, still a good sign

I consider it a neutral sign at this point.

Yes, it shows the studio has confidence about the frachise, but then Sony had enough confidence in Amazing Spider Man as a franchise to plan several sequels beyond part 2.

"Except for that one guy we couldn't fit on top of the car."

Pak-Man

Shouldn't a teaser poster make SOME attempt to be at least KIND of clear what they're trying to advertise? The stars' lightning bolt shape isn't even shaped like the old Power Rangers lightning bolt. They could at least have had them silhouetted in their costumes. And maybe not standing on an SUV for some reason.

The SUV is probably the new Alpha.

Pak-Man

The new Ford Alpha! Driving it will make you want to say, "Aye, aye, aye!"

"The other Rangers don't want to get mixed up with a guy like him. He's a loner. A rebel."

And yes, while visually impressive, it is a lousy promotion poster for the movie.

Someone will have to explain the appeal of Power Rangers to me. When I was a teen I wasn't interested and it just seemed too much like Voltron to me.

Me too. The robots looked way too cheap to be fun. And the fight scenes (the main draw for a show like this) were the worst choreographed crap I had ever seen. Especially odd since it comes from Japan, where they can definitely do much better.

I was also all the more interested when I found out apparently Linkara is a huge Power Rangers fan.

I love Linkara's reviews, but his inclusion of Power Rangers crap was part of what lost my interest in the storyline portions of them.
