Annual subscription to new releases?

[kjpod]

Honestly the most annoying part about getting new Rifftrax is entering my payment/Paypal info every single time.  Which gives me the idea... What about allowing us to pay a flat amount in advance and get guaranteed access (just log in and download/stream) to anything the guys release over the next twelve months? I'm honestly not 100% sure what a fair price for that would be but I know I'd lay $100, maybe even $200 down for that in a heartbeat.

The idea's been kicked around before, but I don't know if its still a possibility.  I'd be up for a payment model like that too.

Yeah a lot of people like the idea, they've hinted that it's something they would like to do.

At the bottom of this page it says they're working on a subscription model:

Been waiting for one for many years!  Glad they are trying to work it out!

Id actually like some sort of "rental" system.  Like sometimes I spend $10 (which is a big deal for me. I run my own biz) and the VOD wasnt that great.  No offense, but other movies I get to watch ahead of time and then decide if I want to own it.  Like $5 for a stream only 48 hours deal, and to own would be like another $5.

If it's an option, and not the only choice, yeah.  If it becomes mandatory, you'll hear a chorus of people saying the can't afford to pay all at once, it's too much, etc.
