I just saw this one, and I think it's one of the better Rifftrax Mike has done.  His vitriol over practically everything in the movie may not be unexpected at this point, but it's certainly welcome.  I also enjoyed Disembaudio's contributions to the trax, particularly the odd "Pootie Tang" back and forth.  His only riff during the movie is pretty good too.

My favourite riff, without a doubt, had to be: "If Belushi ever came back, Akyroyd would have to be the fat Blues Brother."

How about everyone else?

"They haven't wiped down the pole from the previous dancer...and he was really sweaty."
Good ole Britney, playing the virgin with the instinctive belly dancer/stripper moves. Somewhere in the commentary, they mentioned Dan Ackroyd did the movie because he has three daughters who are Britney fans. Glad he could phone it in.  Too bad they couldn't have actually bothered to do the scene where Kim Catrall crushes her little spirit.
But at least the writer has gone on to better things like creating Grey's Anatomy.

"If you could stop moaning like a Filipino hooker, that would help the song"

I always thought Brittany worbled like a mountain goat, but I like Mike's description even more

Tarantulas

Good riffs, but GOD it was hard to watch.

The stinger might have to be What'sHisFace darting into the desert and throwing a Yosimite Sam style tantrum.

Yeah, Brit as the good girl/valedictorian -- what a hoot!

That gave me a start, seeing her name in the credits. I never did like GA much, but it is a hit. (If you can't think of anything better to do with Kyle Chandler than blow him to smithereens, there is something seriously wrong with you.) The thought of the writer of "Crossroads" having a hit show affects me much like William Shatner's winning an Emmy -- a queasy feeling that the universe has turned inside out and upside down.  :P

"The fetus can sing harmony!"

"She can't even find the bathroom! How is she out of his league?"

"What's with the Hitler walk?"

"'Take the Britney Spears movie,' my agent says. IDIOT!"

"It's not an apartment, not yet a mansion."

With the exception of Star Trek, I think this was the funniest one yet.  ;D

I agree with Tarantulas, great track but very difficult film to get through.

I can't decide which is more absurd: all the maudlin, Lifetime Movie tragedy or the "Let's write a pop song in five minutes and rather unenthusiastically become a superstar" plotline.

It is nice to learn, however, that New Orleans provides first-time karaoke contestants with their own spacious dressing rooms.

My thoughts:

1) POOPIE!  The movie, that is, not Mike.

2) Was I the only one getting something of a Girl in Gold Boots vibe off of this?  You know, with Britney as Michele and Ben as Critter Jones?  And maybe Dylan as that icky elf guy, and Kim Catrall as Greasy Stacy Keach, and-okay I'm taking this analogy too far.

3) Call me crazy, but I think that they were filming Mimi's hospital scenes in the same former hospital that they shoot Scrubs in now.  The main vestibule they were in just needs a paint job and some new desk units to become Carla's nurse station.  Alas, the director failed to take the logical final step and have John C. McGinley show up and yell at the cast for a good five minutes.  Hell, just give me a walk-on from the Janitor, and I'd be happy.  Even Sweaty Teddy, for God's sake!

4) Loved the sound of the punches.  Nice to see that the foley artist from Cave Dwellers got to dust off the ol' meat slammers one last time.

This was a good one, yeah.

I also liked Dan Akyroyd talking in his sleep:

"mmmhgh ...  bass-o-matic ... mmfrghh"

I don't know why, but the everytime I think about "My mom is taking me to the mom store" I can't stop laughing.

Don't you have a feeling that you will be owning "Pootie Tang" in the near future?
Anytime someone offers you 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it.
Lets just say if John Mellancamp ever wins an Oscar, I'll be a rich man.

Yep, this was the best riff.  We actually had to pause the movie we were laughing so hard.
