So, tonight, I did my first ever drunk dial. It was payback to my friend for drunk dialing me. I consider that a WWWWOOOOOO!!!!

I personally think that a drunk dial is the most flattering thing you can do. When you're completely out of your mind, you call the ONE person you can focus on. Plus, I got to freak her out by using a lower toned guy voice on her. That was hilarious.

Placed an order for a GTX 780 graphics card this morning! ;D

I can't believe I just dished out $450 for a graphics card. Installation day and the inevitable problems that come with it are going to be pretty stressful.

Here's hoping it's smoother than my installation day.

I'm thinking it should go well if I prep it well enough, I plan to run software to completely remove all trace's of AMD drivers, remove the old card, boot from the onboard graphics, get all the MOBO BIOS, and new GPU drivers and updates, turn it off install the card and hopefully that will give me a clean slate to work on.

"Mushkin Enhanced Chronos" sounds like a great brand of sled for the Iditarod dog sled race.

Hey, man! Where you been hiding?

An SSD is the next thing on my upgrade list, then a better CPU cooler for more aggressive overclock, then 8 more gigs of RAM, and then finally a new case that doesn't look so tacky (my current one has a plastic front panel, flashy lights, and a window on the side :gouge:) I like my cases to be very clean and minimalist. I'm certain when I'm done with that there will be a whole new list for my constantly evolving system.

Something like this would be sexy

While the second one might be sleeker, there's absolutely no airflow in that thing and your new GPU is going to melt into a pile of wasted money.

I'm personally all about my plexiglass panel and tacky LEDs, but you should be able to find something with a 120mm top fan and a side fan without the LEDs.

Also, my next case is going to be a full sized tower. I like my mid sized tower, but when I crossfire it's a little tight. Could use some more room for airflow.

It's not a computer unless the case was made by Blue LED Corp.
