MP3 only releases UPGRADED to VOD

Just finished Red Dawn.  It desperately needs subtitles.  Also, maybe it was just my system, but the sound mix was frequently weird.  Lots of riffing so quiet I couldn't really hear it, mostly from Joel.

Yeah Joel's mic was way down.  When a bunch of us did the re-authors of the DVD we had to really boost Joel's parts.

I was shocked to see the SW Holiday Special as well.  Lucas tried as hard as he could to erase that thing from existence.  It looks like they used a bootleg to make the VOD too.  I thought they always played by the rules when it came to copyrights.  Is Disney's attitude about the special that different than Lucas's?

Here's hoping they're able to do more VOD's of past mp3's.  Doesn't even have to be the blockbusters.  The studio version of Birdemic is my favorite riff ever.  Would also love The Room.

I doubt they'd get the OK from Tommy Wiseau, considering Mike's talked at length about trying to get his permission for a live show and being stonewalled. Birdemic, not so sure about.

Since they got the rights to the Star Wars Holiday Special. Is their any chance of them getting the right to those two Ewok TV Movies.

Is Disney's attitude about the special that different than Lucas's?

I would imagine that Bob Iger isn't as personally embarrassed by the special's existence as George is. But that doesn't explain how they licensed all the commercials, unless they're just sorta hoping they're all public domain by now.

Hm, I tried redownloading Red Dawn and it still has the same MD5. I guess I have to wait a little longer?

How is Red Dawn? Funny? If nothing new this weekend I might buy. But Troll 2 wasn't so great (while Next and Glitter were tops).
