Skype questions.

[Thrifty Version II]

Hey all.  Just a couple questions about Skype.  I've never used it and was thinking it would be a decent idea to set it up since sometimes long distance job interviews are done via Skype.  So here we go.

1) What do you need to do a Skype chat session?  Just a webcam and the free Skype software and an account?
2) I guess this is really part of number 1, but do I need a microphone or headset or something?  Will a good cheapo one suffice?
3) Is anyone here on Skype and willing to help me do a test chat some time to make sure I can get it right?
