The Room on Blu-ray - Will this sync with the Rifftrax?

I do feel like a tool for even broaching this topic, but if I track down the Blu-ray editio of the "The Room" that is around on Amazon and eBay, will this sync with the Rifftrax? Reading an interview, it sounded like Wiseau edited the thing in HD from scratch, so even if he replicated every edit from the original DVD, wouldn't a new edit still be off enough seconds that the Riff would be unusable? Just curious if anybody knows anything about this.

Maybe I should just stick to the DVD; the sketchy video quality is probably part of the charm.

It could be a problem.  I have seen different transfers of the exact same cut cause sync issues before.

Yes, I just did a reauthor of this. The cut of the film is the same, and the track was in sync all the way through.

What is the quality of the blu?  How horrifying is "THE SCENE" in 1080p??  Is it worth Wiseau's high price?

The high price of the bluray or the high price of seeing his naked ass?
