Yep, that's the thing that's happening.  Unless you can think of another Batman short that rifftrax can afford to VOD.

Well there were two Batman serials released in the late 40s.  And the Twitter post says "[the] DEFINITIVE Batman" which, near as I can tell isn't the name of an episode in either serial.

I don't think Mike was naming an episode - I think he was making fun of how not-Batman-like the short is.

Is this the one where Bane breaks Batman's back? Or is it the one where The Joker shoots Barbara Gordon? I always get those two episodes confused.

Actually not true. I checked the releases last year and they had three VOD's in July and I think even one released right before the Manos show in Aug.

I really hope they do a feature length soon, I've got a little fatigue from re watching all of there previous releases, Cinematic Titanic and old episodes of MS32K.
