My wife found a groupon deal with a large selection of canvas prints of vintage movie posters.  There were a lot to sort through, and several of them had a Rifftrax connection (including an awesome looking Dr. Who and the Daleks poster I couldn't talk her into).  In the end, this is what we picked out.

I guess this is as good a place as any to post some model pictures.

For some reason Christmas put me in the mood to build a model, since the only original NCC-1701 model they had was a snap together one I got a Wright Flyer kit.  With the crappy weather Sunday and work closed due to a power outage yesterday I got it done.  Figure it took about 8 to 9 hours, half of that getting the string to cooperate.  Now I see the string is frayed and doesn't look that good in close macro shots.

I never really looked at the Wright Flyer closely before, the radiator is a metal tube strapped to one of the wing struts, and the gas tank is a little bottle also strapped to the top of one of the wing struts.  Guess they never needed the engine to run very long so no need for anything more heavy.
