Nice cartoon!    I am sure that is the same reaction the studio head had when they screened the finished product.

Wait...where did the Oscar come from?

Ahhh....I suppose I was more shocked to see that Forest wanted anything to do with Travolta after the BE nightmare

heh heh, and Forest is thinking about John "You know where you can stick this..."

[Jennythenipper]

The "Wasnt that guy in 'Husker Du'?" comment had me almost spitting my drink out.    They STILL are my favorite band; I was not expecting them mentioned on a Rifftrax.

Yes! Obscure Minnesota music references abound in BE:

"Hey, Dave Pirner!  So that's what happened to him."

Genius.

[Jennythenipper]

"Understood. I knew that but thought it "weird" that a site from 5 years ago had the same "riffs"...quite a coincidence I am sure."

Not really.  I think there are plenty of obvious jokes to make about this movie and we'd expect sharp people like Mike, Bill and Kevin to pick those up and do them.

One of the local channels this weekend in Houston kept showing Battlefield Earth about every 6 hours the entire weekend.   Honestly, who would want to watch it without the Riff?

[CJones]

Where do they get their razors? I can't help but notice Johnny is clean shaven at the beginning.

[BathTub]

We watched this tonight and after Travolta hits his head next time we come back to the same area there are Manimals working on the place, and my friend Angela was like 'Ahh he's getting them to remove the beam where he hit his head hahaha', and I had never noticed that before!
