No, the Porsche is what Leslie Nielsen's character drove. Evel drove something that looked like a Third-Generation Monte Carlo with a slopy rear-end with the spare tire on it.

Thanks, actually I thought that was a pretty neat looking car. And there's very, very few cars from the 1970s I like.  This car I don't think I've ever seen before; neither in real life, in print media or in a movie.

Yeah, I was reading about them after you told me the model and learned of the Elvis connection.  I think between the car and the jumpsuit Evel was just trying to imitate Elvis, I guess he was the Elvis of stunt-biking (crashing.)  Like I said, I actually thought the car was a rather neat design, I'd like to see if I can find a scale model of it. (I'd prefer a kit, but I doubt that's likely.)

What kind of car was it that Evel drove in this movie? It's a very interesting-looking design of car I'm not sure I've ever seen before.

Took a while to search that out, I was starting to think it was a custom made car, but it's a 1974 Stutz Blackhawk.

Well, there was no need to do the research when the answer is a couple posts above. ;)

Thanks, for the effort, though.  Again, it's a pretty nifty looking car.

That's so weird, it's like Firefox just didn't show half this page yesterday.  But it was acting funny yesterday, flash was messed up and some pages I couldn't click on any links.  Been too long since the last registry cleaning, had about 400 errors in it that needed to be fixed, then everything went back to normal.
