Not likely.  The only ones Rifftrax are going to release on DVD are for Public Domain movies. Birdemic is not.

I would think it depends on who has the rights, and these days these things usually get very specific.  Obviously Severin has the rights to distribute Birdemic in disc format, so did they also have VOD rights spelled out?  Maybe someone from Rifftrax can say (or maybe they can't).  Rifftrax had to make a deal with either Severin or Nguyen to distribute the film.

I would assume (and you all know what they say about people who assume) that they would be something of a package deal.

Like Rifftrax/Legend gets to release the VOD, and Severin releases the physical disc with the RT logo all over it.

I hope that's the way it goes, because I can't burn for beans with my laptop.
