Okay, folk and folkettes, what will you be watching now that the holidays are on their way? Do you have any special viewing traditions? Rifftrax and MST and CT are game in this thread as far as I'm concerned.

I need a break from any of the Xmas orientated MST eps so none of that old school stuff for me this year. (I also need to wait a while before I view Ice Cream Bunny and the Christmas Tree Special again). So this year...The Star Wars Xmas Special.

I'm very excited about this one (it's good right?).

The last few years I've had a tradition of watching a new Rifftrax short collection on Xmas Eve. If they haven't released a new collection on DVD I burn my own and it looks like that's what I'll be doing this year.

And hopefully they'll have another streamed special as well (let the speculation begin).

And you?

Darth Geek

I like watching the Turkey Shoot riff of Scrooge. Even though it's a bad adaptation of A Christmas Carol, it still is good enough to get me in the Christmas mood. And the riffing on it is stellar.

Of course, I always watch Gremlins anyway, but also with Hor-Riff-ic Productions iRiff.

Second the Scott Zee Scrooge. I also recommend the Santa and the Fairy Snow Queen iRiff.

Bob

I can watch ANY rifftrax, iriff, MST3K, Cinematic, IWXCP (they have horror movies too), Film Crew movies.

Since my family is weird and we like watching sci-fi and horror movies over the holidays, the Universal Horror ones are great too.

My sister makes her famly watch Eraserhead every holiday.

RVR II

My cheesy viewings will be Star Wars original Trilogy on Bluray (as early as this weekend), and then Stek Trek TNG Season 2 on Bluray before I travel back to Mexico on Dec. 15 8)
I'm sure I'll watch some other stuff like ICWXP's ep 203 again..

I don't watch a whole lot while in Mexico as I'm usually working in the boutique or making videos and besides, all there stuff is all in Spanish :-\

Being with my family this year is LIKE the movie Eraserhead. Tip of the hat to your sister though. The way my sister has been acting lately I'd like to put Texas Chainsaw Massacre on during Xmas in a continual loop.

So Satellite News has posted a hint of what the Xmas special is. I'm pretty sure I know what it is and I've posted another hint in the Any New Rifftrax thread.

Hey, does anyone know a good (virus free) link to streaming the Star Wars Holiday Special? I'm wanting to watch that this weekend. Someone gave me a link last year but I didn't have time to see it and can't remember what thread it was in. Thanks!

losingmydignity

Thanks. I didn't see one on youtube that wasn't in parts (that would make syncing impossible, right?) but I'll keep looking.

You could download a Youtube ripper and combine the parts. Or find a torrent.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Well, I'm probably not good enough with computers to do that, but thanks Manundermask.

I found a link to a full version on youtube, but want to run the link through the anti-virus first (yeah, I'm cautious). Does anyone know how to run a link through anti-virus before you click it?

Watched The Holiday Special and used archive.org. I didn't even have any sync problems!
