haven't been to the View Askew website in about 5 years, I assume there's no point going there now because I'd be written off as a

Welcome to our humble online abode!

There is a good amount of Kevin Smith fans here as well.

"That's beautiful, man!"

ScottotD

I know it's pretty easy to look like Kevin Smith but I finally bought the 'An Evening With' DVDs last week and every 5 minutes or so my brain misfired because he just WAS me.  Now I find out he's dropping weight the same time I am as well!

This has nothing to do with your post, I just found it spooky.

Welcome!

I, too, have the Kevin Smith 'Evening' DVDs, (though I've yet to see the second one) and have to admit, he's a funny bastard.  I especially like his Superman story.

Minnesota

hello, glad you found the site. Odd that your first post was in the welcome thread, that pretty much never happens ;D

Propriety is one of my strong points [(of which I have few) aside from milquetoast thread starting]

I was fortunate enough one fine day (many a Wolf Moon ago...) to purchase a used copy of MST3K-Mitchell AND rent the original Clerks for the first time.  Sitting now in a sea of MST3K DVD's, VCD's, Avi's and VHS as well as ViewAskew DVD's, Posters, VHS, T-Shirts, Special Editions, Ultra-Special Editions, Covert Hush-Hush Editions and Jay & Silent Bob Figurines, I begin to wonder what I would do without MikeN and KevS...probably just be a normal, All-American, raging Alcoholic...

Thanks for the welcomes you guys/gals, and rest assured I'm just as annoying as everyone else..:)

Heh, well, welcome anyway!

A tip: Any inexplicable reference to a rudimentary lathe stems from this debacle: 20Q 1-9-07. Read the whole thread if you want to wet your pants laughing at how stupid we all are.

Also, if given a choice of Disney princesses, most Riffaholics would nail Jasmine from Aladdin.

I've tried to post in that thread, but I just can't bring myself to do it.  As soon as my hands go to the keyboard, something in my brain goes off and tells me I'm crossing a line....a line, apparently, I'm unwilling to cross.

Anyway, welcome fanboy3445, and join us in the various forum threads where all types of hilarity, banality, and geekiness lie.

Usually the geeky hilarity far outweighs the banality...

While we're on the subject, or rather, we soon will be, why a Vin Diesel avatar and not a Dennis Weaver one?
