Except that the best thing for this new movie is the least amount of George's involvement. I don't want this guy even suggesting plot ideas.

It's been established that he's going to be a consultant for the first 3 sequels. That's fine by me since it IS his universe. Anyone writing or directing the new sequels is going to want his input here and there.

Yeah, his ideas aren't bad ones, they just need others to bring them to fruition, when left to his own devices they go a little kack-ka.

And I know what that's like, ideas are easy for me, making them fly is far more tricky, though I'm fairly good as a director the few times I've done that.
