1) George Lucas will not direct
2) George Lucas will not write the screenplay
3) George Lucas will not cast the actors
4) George Lucas will not retcon these next movies in the year 2031.

Personally, I'm not angry about it (anymore). I do however agree that Lucas doesn't fully understand what made Star Wars good and that he needed other people to act as a filter for the good and bad ideas. He had too many yes men and women for the prequels. Now as a consultant, he can pitch ideas and hopefully only the gems will get through.
