Certainly liked this one better than the pilot... but I smell a Mythbusters episode...

Yeah, I like this show. It's fun in a way I haven't seen on TV in a long time. It's not setting out to wrench you to your core. Just to give you a fun ride.

My guess:

Even with Joss as nothing more than overseer, I agree with Pak, the show is fun in a way not seen in a long time [I'd add, "since Joss' last show was on"].

However, happy as I am that Joss is the Big Kahuna in Marvel's 'second wave', I'd much rather see Joss himself give us 72 hours of his own personal work on the small screen in three years, rather than four hours in two movies, three years apart.  I just hope his success between Avengers, the Second Wave, and - presumably - S.H.I.E.L.D., gives him the clout to do so in the future, with whatever the hell he feels like making getting maintained and renewed long enough to find its audience.

I agree with your spoiler Lucas.

edit: oh, yeah, totally relevant.

You guys have convinced me this might be good enough to watch, first new TV show in a few years I've been interested in.  Even though it's on a station I get I think I'll still buy it on Amazon VOD, not watching very much broadcast TV the last few years makes the commercial breaks way more annoying...

ScottotD

Sky looks like a mix of Mia Sara and Eliza Dushku.

Also, YAY cameo!

Just watched the latest ep. Using this comment as a reminder to come back here, but real quick...

I finally realized something about Sky. Her character seems to be written for Aubrey Plaza, don'tchya think?

Aubrey Plaza's a little too dour for Skye.

The episode was good, though as soon as whatsisface fell into the engine, I knew there'd be some sort of payoff.  Coulson should know better!

No .gif of Skye running yet? You disappoint me internets.
