My google search pulled up the Hunger Gams. Most of the movie is just a Jennifer Lawrence look-a-like being swallowed up by various monsters. Kind of Creeping Terror fetish type thing.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go start a thread complaining about how vile it is for Rifftrax to do this before I even see it....

I hear the Hunger Gams movie is going to be popular for ages; it's really got legs at the box office.
You deserve a rimshot for that one, with a big ol' pair of drumsticks.

Honestly I haven't even gotten around to getting the last one....
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

I'm sure it is!! I actually haven't been disappointed in the VOD riffs themselves at all...  I just haven't had the money, what with all the live riffs and food and rent and being alive and my family coming to visit next week and not having much of an income until this past pay period......

.... but now that I'm all promoted at work n stuff, I can have money!!!  I'll probably grab both of the newest VOD's this Friday after I see my paycheck.

I have actually been delaying for that reason as well. I want to pile as much on there as I can while also having money to use on it.

Google image search gives me The Revenge of Dr. X (1970) (alternate title: Venus Flytrap)

Written by Ed Wood!!!!

I'm certain that I'm correct, since many review sites have the same image.

Yeah. It looks like Body of the Prey is the same movie.

Quote"Contrary to popular belief, this film was not directed by Kenneth G. Crane, was not made in 1970, was not produced by Toei Company, and was not titled "The Double Garden". It was originally filmed in 1966 as "Body of the Prey" and it was produced and directed by Norman Thomson. Thomson was the popular pulp novelist of the Burns Bannion series, which he wrote under his pen name 'Earl Thomson'. The production was assisted by members of the United States military bases in Japan and shot on location there. During production, Al Rickett wrote about the making of this film in the 'Stars & Stripes' newspaper, as well as having a small part as a gas station owner. However, while Edward D. Wood Jr. claimed he wrote the script for this film under the title "Venus Flytrap" and placed it on his resumes, reports of the making of the film in 'Stars & Stripes' claim Thomson wrote the script. It's possible that Wood sold the script to Thomson and it was slightly re-written before production. It's undetermined if the completed film was released theatrically, in either Japan or the United States."

Edward J Grug III

A movie bad enough that Ed Wood is uncredited... Can't wait! :D

(According to IMDB, the original credits to this movie don't exist any more and it has the credits of the movie it was paired in a double feature with)
FINE

Double weird.

I've seen Revenge of Dr X.  It's a smouldering pile of onscreen garbage.

Can't wait!

I'm supposed to read this before buying? There's like 20 words here. I don't think I should have to read War and Peace before I buy this. Mystery Science Theater never made me read anything.
