Brief IMDB synopsis.

They set the first movie in the future, which actually looks exactly like the present.  So then they set the second movie in the past?  Or the present?  I wonder what that would look like.

The thing ended, with...not the slightest bit of plot resolution at all! did the cop and reporter go hide somewhere in Europe, did an army of 'C.O.P.S.' circle them about, destroy both and then have a gang-war over how to divide the bounty, or what? And did the corporate thug and his oh-so-'hilarious' underthug ever get ousted, or do they still sit there waiting for the unknown mole to finally be discovered and then give him or her a ride to the auto scrapyard, too? No, it was as though the scriptwriter just got tired and quit before a smidgen of resolution had even been suggested. There wasn't even a real 'cliffhanger' scenario, though perhaps the whole ending could be called one on ALL COUNTS as if sequalisation were already in gear at time of making.
