Woo, quite the scoopz coming out of Comic-Con!

Wonder if they will just be performing the existing Rifftrax or will this be all new material (or a combo of both)?

My solar panels can't wait for that!

What's been the MO for the other films that have been done in the studio and then live? I seem to remember House on Haunted Hill had mostly the same jokes. (Although, to be fair, I'm a mark for live shows anyway - the atmosphere is just better.)

For the Powers that Be, please, please, please send out an email or something letting us know BEFORE the live show tickets go on sale, as in the tickets for where the guys will actually be at.

I would guess that it would be at the Belcourt again, so I would bookmark and keep tabs on their website, just in case they post the info there first.

Nice. But I'd still rather see them riff something new live.

Is BIRDEMIC public domain, or are the copyright owners involved?

I honestly don't like the film. Even with the Rifftrax commentary, the movie is too unbearable.

That's surprising! I guess they are actually paying licensing (or whatever) fees to exhibit it, because it's not public domain... I hope that doesn't mean it won't ever be released on DVD or as a VOD.

It is all speculation but when the RiffTrax for Birdemic was released Severin (the company that released it) was all over it. They were tweeting about the rifftrax and posting links and loved it.

Any issues with the RiffTrax main page should be directed to support@rifftrax.com Attempts to engage with me directly about such matters will result in ridicule.

Birdemic is the only riffed movie that even people who have never heard of Rifftrax tell me I must watch because of how bad it is. (I then tell them about Rifftrax, of course.  This has happened to me three different times this year)
