Lots of low budget movies have been made in South Africa. I think a bunch of the movies Reb Brown was in, too.
Why is that ???
Just getting there ain't cheap :o

Yeah, but filming there apparently is (or at least was back then). Some low budget studios had offices there and facilites, so they didn't have to transport everything (except the few non local actors).

Well, my take on this is there are just not enough jokes about ME in Rifftrax. When are they going to start making riffs specifically about ME, MY JOB, and MY LIFESTYLE. I have not heard a good riff about Losingmydignity (i.e. ME and MYSELF) since MST (specifically the mention of ME in Hellcats).
Dear Rifftrax, this is any easy thing to fix. Are you listening to ME?
ME, won't you?

The joke in Prisoners of the Lost Universe was during the cliff climbing scene.

Something close to "There's a wang, guess I'll just throw myself off"

Hard not to read that has a trans bashing "joke", one of many over the history of Rifftrax.

And TheUnabeefer your argument is complete BS.  I'm just asking that one type of joke not be made.  I don't see Rifftrax going after different religious groups or ethnicities in the riffs but the trans "jokes" are almost always there.   This is really not difficult issue to fix.

It was when the hero was watching the heroine climb to the top of the cliff.  They were riffing that he was looking up her skirt.  He says "Well, shame I saw a wang, jumping off the cliff I guess".  It appears to be a reference to his sudden look of indifference and looking down the cliff.  I can only figure it makes fun of homophobia.

Maybe if they said 'nice beaver', would the women fan club have been offended ???

Or it's the exact opposite.   Point is, it didn't need to be there in the first place.

Yeah, anyone who's offended by anything is an idiot...

No, the idiot is the character in the film (the Battlestar Galactica guy) who is a sexist pig/jerk etc (paging John Agar) and clearly he would NOT be happy if he saw a wang on Kay. That's the joke, folks.

Now back to ME. How can you folks not be offended by the lack of jokes about ME?!!! They need to be there in the first place!
